Purpose of the Role
To represent KK Smart Living by performing a sales and service function within the SA commercial customer channels, ensuring strong brand exposure, sales growth, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
To develop brand exposure through the implementation of the following activities:
πΉ Regular customer sales & service calls in accordance with a structured call cycle.
πΉ Placement of stock orders to achieve sales targets.
πΉ Liaison between internal admin and customers on all queries (sales, technical, logistics, stock, etc.).
πΉ Back-order maintenance & updates to optimize sales volumes (ensuring stock level accuracy, pricing, and product range optimization).
πΉ Execution of agreed Key Account activities, including promotional campaigns, new product launches, and special projects.
πΉ Customer relationship management with key decision-makers (Buyers, Department Managers, Inventory Controllers) to secure additional orders and deals under the guidance of the Business Unit Manager.
πΉ Measurement and reporting on campaign success and promotional activities.
πΉ Report writing, proposals, and accessing sales data to facilitate customer service management.
πΉ Daily customer contact reports and activity tracking.
πΉ Maximizing product solutions across the KK Smart Living range, identifying opportunities to expand sales growth.
πΉ Distribute marketing material, provide training & technical support at the end-user level.
πΉ Support promotions and other sales activities to drive business growth, including potential weekend and public holiday representation at branches.
πΉ Update pricing and maintain customer master listings, ensuring the timeous implementation of price increases.
πΉ Assessment & collection of valid returns and repairs in line with the companyβs returns policy.
πΉ Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
πΉ Participate in new initiatives and projects that contribute to the growth of KK Smart Living.

π Tertiary qualification advantageous
Experience & Skills Required
β Proven track record of sales growth, introducing new products, and developing sales channels.
β Ability to assist channel partners with specifications and provide alternative solutions.
β Strong leadership, analytical skills, and business acumen.
β Solution selling skills with a strategic, customer-focused approach.
β Clear communicator β strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
β Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
β Knowledge of the smart security industry, IoT, and access control solutions (an advantage).
β Team player with strong work ethics and the ability to work independently.
β Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
